I served with 2 units in vietnam from Oct.1967 to Oct.1968. Both were A battery , 7th of the 8th and the other 7th of the 9th . One was a 105 unit and the other was 8in and 175 .. I was incharge of ammo in the 105 unit and was secound in command of an 8in.gun in the other unit . Let no one tell u that those that served in vietnam were not good people ..I can only say this from my heart ...Love u brother !!!! And god bless u all .

Linderer, claims inside all of his books that he was awarded 2 Silver Stars and 2 Purple Hearts for the same day's combat. Military Impossiblity! I have his NPRC and he does not have these awards that he claims. I also have the US National Archive records known as the DA1594 radio logs that refute what he wrote in his first two books. Going to Branson, MO. this June will only put money in his soiled pockets.
