Many of my questions are answered... My Father, Col. G.H. Macnair served with the 3rd Attack GP prior to WWII and sometime before and after the move to Ft Crockett. There he met and married my Mother who passed on several years ago. While she unfortunately destroyed his papers, I have lovingly retained the silver cup he won for winning the All American Air Meet in Miami, FL, on 7 January 1929. However, I have no further details such as what airplane he was flying. Dad went on to attain the rank of Colonel but was killed in June, 1945.
