Comments: I am one of Mario Rossi's sisters. Just reading articles about him. It has been a long 26 years, and still trying to get information. I enjoyed your site. Great reading and reminders of back in the days.

Thanks

Comments: I filmed the Charlotte World 600 in May 1970. I stood on the wing of my 68 Charger RT and the wing on it was for a 69 Daytona. I had Calif plates, XBR 646. The film is on Ken Noffsinger's web site, SuperBird.com and I filmed the cars leaving the pits slowly at the start. Then you see the pace lap as they pass the start line and then the start of the green flag. I was using a Super 8 movie camera and did not have sound. It would have been awesome if I had sound as the cars today sound almost like an Indy car instead of the big cubed American made engines at full song. What a memory. I currently drive around the country in my #06 Neil Castles 69 Daytona. It is 550 HP. I pull a couple different trailers. One is a 28 foot enclosed car trailer. I also tow a 24 foot flat bed car trailer. joe machado
