My older sister would turn 15 in two days. The Beatles seemed like Gods to me. As I moved into my own teenage years George bacame my favorite Beatle. No one was more surprised than I when I met him in late 1993. It was in a business context and I got to interview him for about and hour and a-half. I had the opportunity to carefully choose my first words which were, "Mr. Harrison, I am speechless. You've made millions of people very happy and I am one of them!" To show how sincere and steeped Mr. Harrison's talent I was, I sang parts of "If I Needed Someone" and "Old Brown Shoe" for him. I think I saw just a twinkle of gratitude in his eye and a smile play softly on his lips. In return, I got more than I ever wanted - a guitar pick stamped "George Harrison" on one side and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" on the other!
