I have been a fan of Roller Derby since 1963 and, more recently, RollerJam. I was dismayed to see RollerJam go off the air and now there is no replacement for it. I was so unhappy with the demise of RollerJam that I cancelled my cable service and have never returned to it. (And, no, I don't have a sattelite dish, either. I'm writing this to thank-you for many hours of fine entertainment and to ask a favor... My favorite years were during the reign of Joannie Weston, Ann Calvello, Charlie O'Conner and, more recently, the RollerJam teams. I am trying to find footage or tapes of the Roller Derby years from 1964 through 1970 as they were skated at Kezar Pavillion in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco (usually featuring the Bay Area Bombers, but also with other teams). There HAS to be somebody who has these original films or tapes! If you can be of ANY help to me, I would be eternally grateful. A contact name, phone number or e-mail is all I need.
