Comments: This evening, I was thinking about my college days of 20 years ago.... 20 years. 20 years ago, Angela and I were music majors together at ENMU, sang in the Chamber Choral and the Take Five Show Choir together. Even 20 years later, I feel the pain of her loss... and know her family, and very close friends, feel it even more. Seeing her picture on this web site brought back wonderful memories of a very sweet, innocent, kind, and loving person. Please hold those memories near and dear, Tyson family. Bless you, and I am truly blessed to have known Angela. Peace.

Comments: I still feel a sense of loss as I remember my first recollection of Angela. I was one of the senior members of ZETA and I rushed Angela hoping that she would pledge Zeta which she did. I felt honored to have her as my sister, and she taught me so much about God. She planted the seed and I became a christian years later. She was honest and true to her christian beliefs, and she never settled. I remember her dragging me to church and never giving up on me and my other sisters. She set a path for us and looking back, I can say I learned much from her and the short life she lived. Her death was not in vain. Even after all these years, she continues to influence the many lives that she touched back at the Delta Pi Chapter.

Comments: It's been another sad day here in Borger. I attended Minnie Tyson's funeral today. I never had the privilage of meeting Angela personally, but through Minnie I felt as though I had. If Angela was anything like her mom, I can see why so many were attracted to her. Her mother always made you feel so welcome in her life. I can't recall a time when Minnie ever said anything negative about anyone. She was always encouraging and caring toward others. Minnie would always stop to talk and in doing so she made you feel as though you were her best friend. What a lady! We'll sure miss her.

Comments: I didn't know Angela. There was a program about Texas on the TV and the death row. They were talking about the execution of the murderer of Angela.
It's a great lost for the family but I'm sure she'll be in your heart forever. May she rest in peace.
