Comments: hi just stumbled across your site im an ex cadet i transfered from 354 dover sqn to yours in about 92 till 94. Just saw a pic of me and a friend (lee) teaching bivvies, i joined the army in jan 95 into the royal artillery and spent 12 years with them i then tried for UKSF selection passed and was then badged to a sabre sqn. Nice to see that the sqn is still going strong, i left the sqn as a flight sgt, have just returned from my 3rd tour of helmand i think that my time with the ATC prepared me slightly for service with the army also run my own survival school in north wales have had a few ATC cadets come through, I would love to see 2272 there sometime, feel free to get in touch
all the best

Comments: Dear Leaders of Chepstow RAF Cadets.

I am in a dilema, this being schools. I am at a boarding school in birmingham at the moment and am really enjoying caets, but I want to have a transfer to come back home and go to school more local. My only consern is loosing my flying opportunities. At the moment my cadet group is really lucky and has about 5 trips a term. I have heard that most groups wouldnt get this many in a whole year. Please can you tell me how many flying slots you get a year please so I can decided which school to go to please. It is just that I had a place as a JWO in the RAF with some friends. We were going to do pilot training every weekend which I was reaqlly looking forward to. If I moved, would I still be able to go flying every weekend?, and if so, how ,and where.

Please reply quickly, as I have to decide today.

Thanks alot

Chris Tutton
