I told my Mother that I would never again give my heart to a dog and she told me that in time I would change my mind. I had a 5 year old little boy and she knew that our lives were very empty without our "baby". Her neighbor had a blue Merle and she just HAD to get my son one. I couldn't locate one........but we found "Abbiegaal". My heart was lost and I was smitten with Shelties ever since!!!! "Abbie" is a great joy and VERY much a member of our family, NOT JUST A PET!!!To anyone "thinking" about a Shetland Sheepdog for a family addition........quit thinking about go get one!!!! OR TWO!!!!
