Comments: My great grandpas name was Thomas M. Dowden.His dads name was Ervinger D. Dowden, His mom was Susannah Ellen Williford. Ervinger was born 6/22/1852 in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana.He died 9/9/1930 in Hardin CO. Texas. They are buried at Fellowship cemetary in Tyler CO. Texas. They had 8 children, John Steave, William R., Thomas M., Sinie, Henry Allen, James I., Edward Dillard, and Mary Etta. Ervingers dad was John Thomas Dowden b. abt. 1810, d. bet 1866 & 1869 in Hardin CO. TX. His dads name was James Davis, b. abt. 1785 d. bet. 1826 & 1830. he was buried at Old Natchitoches Cemetery in Louisiana. His dad was Clementius b. 1/11/1762, d. 9/1836, buried at Eimwood Cemetery, Peoria CO. Illinois. his dad was Thomas b. 1/2/1712, d.?. His dad was John Thomas b. 1680 in Queen Ann Parish, Prince George CO., Maryland. hope this info. will be of some help.
