First I struggled with how to address you because I really want to show you the respect you deserve with all you have done in the last 20 or so years helping people,giving of your time and not expecting anything in return. So I chose to address both Bobby Sherman (teen hearthrob) who will always hold a special place in my heart and Officer Sherman for the respect you so deserve. I had the pleasure of taking my daughter to the teen idol tour when it came to Nashville. She was my age when I first fell in love with you way back when...She got such a kick out of watching me swoone..(do they still use that word?)and she also fell for you. You still touch the hearts of women and girls of all ages. I found you again several months ago..which is a blessing because I seem to be having trouble with turning 51 last month and going thru the "empty nest syndrom". Both of my children have married and moved out of the house to start their own lives. You are helping me thru this rough patch in my life and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Of course everyone around me thinks I'm going thru my 2nd childhood because I'm swooning over you again. I recieved your book a few weeks ago with your autograph to me, thank you so much. You had and still have this very special thing about you that just makes people happy. Those beautiful blue eyes, that wonderful smile, your talent as an entertainer, and your passion for helping people and wanting to give back. That and the fact that you really care....it shows in everything you do. I think I can speak for all your fans when I tell you that we are and always will be very proud of you. I still love you, will still daydream about the day I meet Bobby Sherman and will "marry" him. (I hope you or my husband don't mind ) So happy to see you are well and happy. My kids would really think I went off the deep end acutally putting something on here. I just love Bobby!! He was so good looking 40 years ago with those beautiful blue eyes....still is very handsome!!! I have come to the conclusion that Bobby would never move to Nebraska, so I wonder if he would agree to be cloned and show up at my doorstep!?!?!?!?! My granddaughter just turned a year old and ever since she was born, she "listens" to Bobby sing when she's in the car with me. When she fusses, it's about the only thing that calms her down!!! She also watches Here Come the Brides with me!!! I found a you tube video of Bobby singing Easy Come Easy go and she will just stop everything and watch it!!! Of course, we talk about how gorgeous he is!!! She even gets the biggest smile on her face! Well, now that I have made pretty much a complete fool of myself.....Bobby-if you actually read this - how wonderful that you are an EMT and giving back!!! One of my daughters just became a RN a few months ago. Being in the medical profession has got to be one of the most rewarding jobs.
