Dear Black Student Union Representative, We’re interested in showing the hip hop film "Up in the Attic" at your school with a Q&A from the Director Kamal Imani. “Up in the Attic” is a coming of age story about young teenagers in the 1980’s Hip Hop era. It touches on teen drug use, peer pressure, sex and other topics related to African American youth making it the perfect tool for inter-generational dialogue. please feel free to contact us to bring the Director and Spoken Word Poet Kamal Imani to your school or for more information. Please view these links as well.
