Comments: Thank you for your site. Doing research on William Utt and Sarah Elizabeth Hamilton.
I am related to Sarah Elizabeth Hamilton on my mother's side. Sarah's father is my great, great, great, great, great grandfather. Found reference for Utt and Maynard lines with Sarah listed at FamilySearch.org. Could Nancy Utt be Sarah's sister in law?Submitted on site by Deborah Chatley (Maynard)Camp Verde, AZ. Is she a relativ of yours?

Comments: I am a Maynard by way of William "Bill" Maynard who married Elizabeth Dambrill. He was born 1753, Chatham Co. and died may 1850 in Pike County. I don't know if the Maynards mentioned here are of the same line, but I think it is interesting to find Maynards in Kentucky. I didn't know I was related to Kentucky until ten years ago when I started my geneology research. My paternal grandmother Evelyn Nora Maynard married Frederick Henry Haase. Those Maynards migrated to Washington state. They orginated in Brushy Creek, Pike County, Kentucky, where my Great Great Grandfather took up "preaching", rec'd a license and became the first Baptist Minister in Sumner/ Puyallup Valley,
Washington. We are very proud of them.
