We are a family of Condren's living in St. Louis, Missouri. I have four brothers here, along with their children. My Grandfather, Charles Condren came here when he was 17, about 1872. He was born in Manchester, England, his parents being from Ireland. As was mentioned there do not seem to be a lot of Condrens - just our family and a couple of cousins in St. Louis. My father went to Ireland in the 70's and found only 7 in hte Dublin phone book. My brother, Dave spoke with a William Condren in New York a couple of years ago, and I've seen some Web sites.

My father was raised on the South Side of Chi-town, a well known Irish Catholic community. And We know of our cousins in upper New York. There exists a CONDREN road infact. Was at one time farms bought from my great great great?? grandfather. He was coming from Cork County Ireland. While researching a few years back...I fell upon the Stunt-artists in Ireland. Who I saw did stunts in the flim IN AMERICA. Joe Condren. Anna my sister while in LA and taking a stunt driving class met others who knew of these Condrens. Thats wild.
