Hi, My husband, children’s book author and illustrator, Kevin Collier, may have stumbled into a unique spot, producing the first, if not only, picture book for toddlers and juveniles, introducing them to the world of cryptids. Leading Cryptozoologist, Loren Coleman, recommended the book, saying: “It’s that time of year, when our thinking turns to reasonably priced gifts for little ones, Santa’s lists for yuletime…All the really good cz lists for kids include books…I am aware there is a 2008 children’s book newly published, which might be of interest to readers here who have children.”

Amazon.com’s description of the book reads: What happens when legends collide and an eccentric old man meets creatures of lore? Will he give them up? Or will he keep their secret? As Professor Horace, Cryptozoologist, ventures into the unknown, he encounters Big Foot, the Loch Ness Monster, and the Ropen. The myth seeker becomes myth himself. Suggested age readers 5-12.

The nation’s leading Homeschool Blog recommended “Professor Horace, Cryptozoologist,” saying: “Kids will love hearing the story and will ask to hear it again and again.”

The upcoming winter edition of “The Old Schoolhouse” magazine will feature a stellar review of the book, and also a lengthy interview with author/illustrator, Kevin Collier. If you would like me to email you a pdf version of this print book for you to look over, let me know. 100% of the proceeds are going to our son’s school, so your interest and support is much appreciated!
Thank you, Kristen Collier |
