All TAS are doing is a poor impression while pushing their business interests along (Aviation fair - selling table space. AVP - Selling bulk tickets and raising prices). Their main "reporter" is away on holiday too much of the time and all you get are a few pics of the days movements. Come on guys.....come out of retirement....You ARE missed. And if TAS want to carry on beleiving that they do "everything for the greater good of the enthusiast" and not to line certain peoples pockets then that is their problem.

Comments: I have been coming to RINGWAY since it was handed back from the military in the late 40s. I was only 7years old then & have been spotting ever since, it was great when you could walk along the terrace roofs to do the spotting. Most times since i was old enough to drink i have done my spotting from the A.P.H. at the end of 23R. I moved to live over in the states in JAN this year & got married on Easter Saturday to my American Lady friend. Still doing the spotting, but things are more spread out & need to fly to most. I have never found any where where that you can get so close, not even over in the states. I will be over this summer & will visit the A.P.H. & hope to see my old friends. P. Wilding. Comments: just moved over here from Burnley, Lancs. used to spend 3 days a week at Airport Hotel & used to stay sometimes overnight if there was something new early morning. Still spotting over here, but not as much interest by locals as in U.K.
