Comments: I have recently been diagnosed with BC and have just picked up a reference to Sandra's poetry on another site.

Blubells really moved me, but what drove me to tears was Unfinished #1, I suppose because it was unfinished.

I know its been about three years since you passed on, Sandra, but God's speed to you, and thank you (and Roger) for a marvelous legacy.

Comments: Thank you for publishing Sandra's moving poetry. It has helped me to realise that I am not abnormal for feeling the way I do about my cancer.

Comments: I went through a box of tissues while travelling through your experience. The first time I allowed myself to be wracked with tears since being diagnosed with an agressive tumour in March 2008 while on holiday in Egypt.
The NHS's time scale would have rendered the tumour inoperable so I went to Germany where I was rediagnosed, tested, and operated on within a week in May. The tumour is out and this 62 year old man awaits the chemo cycles and currently putting together a death defying plan.

Once out of tissues, I decided to put my fears into an all talking, all moving all singing sculpture which I will exhibit in July at Dartington as part of Southwest Sculptors annual exhibition.

Your honest thoughts and information are helping me get a grip on this seeming ton of bricks that has descended on me from I know not where . . . or why.

Thank you.

Comments: Having discovered this as a result of your email Roger, I felt compelled to read it from start to finish. What a pity that we discovered our relationship so late, our lives would have been enriched if we could have met Sandra. It has been a great privilege just to have been able to glimpse a little of her essence. You obviously loved one another deeply. Our hearts and thoughts go out to you. All our love, Carol and Colin.

Comments: I appreciated to honesty of what your web site had to say. My wife has an aggressive form of lung cancer; we are six months into her journey.
