I too served on the "Benny" Franklin from '87-'89. I am only a couple years older than your son. She was a great boat and missed her dearly and her crew when I left. beleive it or not i cant remember if i was blue or gold crew...how embarrassing LOL. also I enjoyed your dedication page to your freind who died in Vietnam. A freind of mine who served in the Army went with me to our first visit to the Wall last year. We plan to go back and if you havent ever been there please go. if you already have you know what i mean. If you cant make it, it would be an honor to get a "rubbing" of his name for you and send it to you. please respond at my e mail adress if you want.
