Comments: My grandfather, Russell Edward Jones served from 1954-1957 and told us many stories growing up about his memories, especially crossing the line and kissing King Neptune's belly and riding horses in Cuba. Hearing the joy in his voice as he repeated sayings and sang songs he learned during his time at sea inspired me to join the Navy myself.
