Queries: My ggreat-grandfather Peter H. Peterson lived in Osborn around 1870. He was a blacksmith and a bachelor and lived in the hotel. By the 1880 census, he had married Aurelia Nierman daughter of Frederick & Elizabeth Nierman. Frederick was a confectioner in Osborn. I want to thank the Dekalb site for help with a Look-up and I found where these families are buried. They are buried in Osborn Evergreen Cemetery. Peter Peterson (1841 - 1892)
Aurelia (1855 - 1921) They had two daughters who died young. One was Emma and she is listed on the 1880 Census. They were the parents of my great grandfather, Fredrick August Peterson - 1876-1964(who spent most of his life in the KC area)
Fredrick & Elizabeth Nierman had children, Fredrick, Felix, Frank, Clara & Jennie
