Comments: I'm an old Gal from Idaho.....There are a couple places and things you left out and I would like to point you in another direction.....*smile*....St Maries area was the former home of the Cataldo mission...it was moved because of flooding.....Rathdrum was the county seat when Kootenai was the biggest county in the nation covering the whole panhandle....from Canada to Lewiston...Wa. to Montana.....There is a lovely ride from Murry to Montana....known as Thompson pass locally but probably LOW LOW on the map...Oh and the garrison at Ft Sherman it should be noted was all "Buffalo soldiers" who preceeded Teddy Rosavelt up San Juan hill....Pappy Boington may have been born in CDA.....but was raised in St. Maries...and he would be the first to tell you that is not all of that story...ask a Robison from St. Maries for "The Rest of the Story" while you are doing that visit the shadowy ST. Joe....beautiful place.....and the casino on the Coeurd' Alene tribal grounds.....It's beautiful up here....but don't forget to go back home for more money, and to plan many more trips....we got to many new folks NOW......*giggle....*
