Evelyn's site has been made to bring awareness of Domestic Violence, and I, as her Webmaster, believe she has done an excellent job of explaining the horrible act of DV. She is an author, and a very kind lady that is willing to help and inform of the dangers of DV. Evelyn has lived through it and explains it quite well throughout her site. She has a published book and another site *which promotes her book*. She also has a forum link posted on her site, I wish people would use that forum to vent or just e-mail her instead of making this a battle ground. This is MHO....

I believe that *most* every psychologist as well as every psychiatrist teaches us that *all* abused children will abuse *their* children. I believe (and have seen) this to be accurate in *many* instances; However, I know (and have worked with) many abused people (sexually, menatally and psyically) and there are naturally *some* exceptions. I do believe that not *all* abused persons are abusers but statistics show that *many* are. As for the wives answer to her husband's entry, I think it was well expressed but with a bit of anger. What you are doing Eve, is very commendable and I take my "hat off to you" my friend! It takes GUTS to do and say what you have done and I imagine you will help many. I think on some subjects we have to agree to disagree and since we all have opinions...that is just what we are doing...expressing an opinion.
