Comments: I commend you on your having such a fine Elvis Fan Club.I was with Elvis in the 32nd Armor in Friedberg, Germany.Elvis was a Scout Jeep driver and I was an Armored Tank Crewman.My Tank company worked with Hal Wallis making scenes for GI Blues in August of 1959.I was also a Unit Police courtesy Guard for Elvis at 2 Football games in the Fall of 1959 there in Friedberg.
I am planning a possible trip to your area there in NZ.I have given speeches about my Army days in Germany with Elvis here in the USA and also Canada and Porthcawl, Wales.It would be a dream fullfilled if I was able to come and speak to your group of wonderful people.I would love to hear from your group.Please reply to my email addy at (sleekpanther777@frontier.com).
