Comments: love having stumbled on lonnie's site. may or may not remember me lonnie from macomb and those seven years 'in the haze' but i was the radio guy there and friends with ronnie and kenny and stan thurmond and spent too many nights seeing the Riders and the Cowboys at the Ritz and other places - and too many days at TCs and the Rainbow Rider Saloon. and you do have to clean up or die, which i did - clean up - in '82. just another 14 hour binge that ended with a car wreck in galva but started in the afternoon at the Rainbow Rider.

Comments: Listened to your new somg and liked it, while listening I read your bio, small world, I was born sober and left Peoria Illinois drunk never to look back, I was a reporter for Nearby Nite Life for several years from 77 to 81, was instumental in working with WXCL in Peoria to get unsigned country singers on the radio, they were gracious enough to allow this to happen every Tuesday for a summer, I left and headed to Daytona with a few old musician buddies and have never left the area, my heart is in Nashville 1st going there for a story on former Poria singers, musicians whatever, since then my wife and I have visited many times, sure you dont remember this but Luther Lewis is working with me on a song I have wrote, hope to finish after fan fair, living in Florida limits my opportunities, when the song is finished I will head it your way, take care
