I very much appreciate your concerns about George W. However there is more to be concerned about: A nation whose citizens refer to their war veterans as "heroes" and romantisize the cruelty of war, is a permanent treath for the rest of the world. It's not only Bush alone that's wrong in his mind. It's you too! Refering to a american pilots job as "to kill nazis" or talking of Japanese as just "japs" this shows the same perverted "We are the superior race" thinking as the nazis had it! Did ever spring to your mind that 100-thousands of german or japanese soldiers hated their job and just did it because it was the duty their country asked for, like for so many americans russians, italians, english, ..., too? But yes for you every one wearing an axis uniform was a nazi! And you do not even feel sorry for the citicens that happend to live in this countries and were bombed and burned in 100-thousands (Hamburg, Dresden, Hiroshima, Nagasaki,...) "It was the way of combat that days" you say. But when you speak of 9/11 you feel so angry that you want to kill! Doesn't that sound a bit selective? Take a look in all these excellent european (be it english, german, french) war memorials on the net and learn how to write respectful memorials of people living in a hard time, without glorifying war or blaming former enemies after 60 years of peace time. Besides: americans should remember that WWII was decided in Eastern Europe where more than 3/4 of the Axis forces fought. I'm a young Swiss guy and I thank God that wether I personally nor my country was forced to be engaged in this dreadfull war!
