Comments: I just read your story and comments. I'm very sorry to hear about your loss, and agree with you whole-heartedly on these issues. I've been exposed to asbestos myself during home remodeling, and I'm very concerned about it's possible future impact. I think one big misconception ( at least it was for me) was that it takes years of exposure. That's what I thought when I cut through some asbestos siding one day. Well, now I know different, but it may be too late.
