Warren AFB, Wyoming. I was not a crew member on the C-133 but our APCHE crew assisted in the loading of about ten Atlas D missiles for transportation from Cheyenne, Wyoming to Vandenberg, AFB, California. After five of the loadings I also escorted the missile to monitor the fuel and oxidizer tank pressurization during flight. On arrival in Vandenberg and the missile off loaded I would continue on to Travis, AFB for a return my home base F.E. Warren, AFB, WY via commercial transport.
