Comments: To update: Chapter 158 of the Korean War veteran's Association is still very active, however, it is no longer an organization based in Lake Wales. It is the Polk County Chapter of the KWVA. We have members from all over Polk County, including, of course Lake Wales, Lakeland, Winter Haven, Bartow, Arbundale, Ft Meade and Haines City. We are still very proud to bear the name of WR Charette MOH. We currently meet in Winter Haven at the American Legion Post 8 and we are looking for new members! We meet the 4th Saturday each month at 10:30 AM but come at 10 for coffee and refreshments. Plan to be there until 11 or 11:30 AM I think you will enjoy meeting other Veterans of our war, and will have a good time. Wives are welcome to attend as well.
