I'm a descendent of John Swor by way of Ewing Farrish Swor according to my cousin, Joanna Adair. My grandfather was William Swor and we were part of the Swor clan around the Oxnard, Ca. area although there are only a few left there now. I remember years ago, before the days of the internet, Aunt Julia and Uncle Bruce traveling around the USA gathering information to put the family tree together and I am so grateful for their efforts to get this started. They were very special people, not only as our aunt and uncle, but as historians that set in motion a great trail where others have taken on the work to educate me and my family about our roots. Thanks for all the work you do. It is truly amazing. I'm proud to be a Swor. Now, if someone can tell me how to pay my dues in order to received the Quarterly newsletter again, I'll be grateful!
