Hi Justin, I am a heterosexual married mother of three grown daughters and grandmother of two. I also was brought up in a great christian southern baptist home with a background of many generations of christians. I became a Christian when I was six years old and I also knew what I was doing and have experienced a real realtionship with Christ all my life. I see that you have a real relationship with God and love Him with all your being. You are so honest and truly want to know the real truth - God's truth. I have been really interested in also knowing what is God's truth in relating to homosexuality and the Bible. I feel for you and all the many people that have suffered greatly with their homosexuality. And I know God loves you dearly and feels your pain. It's hard to understand but I am trying earnestly to really know - what does God think about this? What is His truth-the real absolute truth for that is all that matters, not what people think. It has taken me into the history of the Bible and studying the scriptures regarding this. You have been so honest with your quest and are open to the truth. I have looked into the greek translations, etc. trying to understand. I believe you are the way you are, and did not choose this at all. I am still searching, studying, and learning. I see that your entries are really old and I wonder where you are at in your life right now. Your site is the only one where every aspect of what I have been wondering about has been addressed. Reading it made me feel like I really understand you and everything you're saying. It is so clearly and honestly expressed. I just want to encourage you in your quest for the truth and to know that God loves you the most that God could ever love. I will pray for you and hope that we both find the answers we are looking for. May God richly continue to bless your life, Justin.

Justin I am so glad that you love God!! I typed "what now God" into the search engine and your site came up. I so appreciate how you have boldly and honestly spread light on this issue by sharing your heart! It's good to know that there are other people in the body of Christ who are having their "what now God " moments...no matter the subject that brought them to that question! And it's even better to know that God is and always will be a present help in a time of trouble and that the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth. I thank God that His perfect love has cast out all the fear that would prevent you from sharing. Keep on growing. You are a refreshing blessing and a gift from God. Love Rachel
p.s. I am married with four children and I love the Lord also and celebrate Him daily!

Just want to say.
THat is really a good question.
What now, God?
I, now, see this is a question, I could really ask, when things are just at a stand still place.
Reading your story has been a reaching sense for me to grow in christ. It seems that the part about Gorromah and Sodom, is a revelant point! You don't rape people. And how many, many, many christians use that passage to justify that it is wrong to do what homosexuals do.
I suppose, my conclusion to living with God, is that, I want an intimate friendship that i can depend on a brother who couldn't be tempted in doing wrong. One of the things that I read in the new testament is that those who lead his brothers wrong are guilty of judgement!! So, I say... test it through scriptures, and there is no such thing as being "normal".
It's what's "normal" to you and God.
Only he reveals, speaks, and loves.
May his truth keep you standing.
=)

Hi, thanks for your site. You write well and have given a clear expression to a lot of my thoughts and feelings. I'm from a similar background and, like you, have found some unexpected aspects to my sexuality! so I understand your thinking. And it's [literally] comforting to think that you understand mine. Visiting this site tonight will prove to be a significant step in my own journey. All the best.

I find it ironic that someone like you who is gay can also claim to be a devoted and conservative christian? when christianity had and still condemns you for being gay.
I am a proud and openly gay man like your self, and like you I also have lived a righteous and decent life meanwhile helping other gay men get closer to God! but perhaps what set both of us apart is that I am a gay christian who encourages other gay men to express every aspect of their sexuality and wellbeing without censorships and shame.
Your website's forums does not encourage that, quite the contrary, it discourages and condemms its gay members to express every aspect of their homosexuality freely and without censorships, much like the typical and traditional christians do and feels about us at expressing our gayness publicly.
Christians live not by the grace of God but by the orders of a few sick, controling, and manipulating leading members of the church, who much like your ideals set rules on how a gay christian should live, thus limiting them to live life to the fullest. Furthermore christians like you lives and feeds upon the minds of gay men who are either insecure, overly sensitive, are closeted, or ashamed of freely expressing every aspect of their identity including their sexuality.
