I like your site. I am trying to get mine loaded with as much vital information as I can. When I noticed the word "Blue" in your title, I was hoping you might be able to tell me something about the predecessors of William Elmer Blue, my Great Grandfather. Incidentally, the name Belcher appears as part of a Scientific Name of the VOLUTA BELCHERI, a seashell, named for a nineteenth century sea Captain.

I am related to the Belcher's.
In a newspaper abstract of 1894-1896 It reads; Arrived: Newcombers to our area from West Virginia; W.R. Belcher, J.C. Belcher and Oliver Workman(my great grandfather) and their families; 29 persons in all.
Bee- March 27,1896. I have alot of other Belcher family members, they settled in the now Mossyrock area. They called it Green Mountain, Riffe, Washington. Which is now under the dam. Please contact me as I would like to make a contact to those who are related in the area they all came from before coming to Washington.
