Comments: It rarely pays to destroy that which makes a city vital and unique and replace it with that which makes a city bland and homogenous. In a grand city like Chicago, such a possibility is especially intolerable. Isn't it enough that Maxwell Street has already been fed to the wolves? Why not choose to sustain -- rather than demolish -- culture? Please leave the Palm alone and future generations will thank you for the decent gesture.

Comments: My Grandmother, Johnnie V. Lee, gave Cannonball Aderly his FIRST music lessons. Jazz Music is the Life Blood of our people. It changed the American Music Landscape forever. We have so few remnants of it's history. They MUST be SAVED!
