Comments: Thanks for the pictures. I start chemo next week Nov 09. I had wondered how long it will take to grow hair back. I am not freaked out about losing it. At this time my hair is no longer than yours was at 6 months. I wear it spiky and short. thanks again for your page it is very uplifting. I know I can do this.....

Comments: Thankyou so much for you pics, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in my pelvis and stomach in march 2009, i was told, it could be treated but not cured, the hardest part was telling my grown -up children .......mums make things better for them, not worse. After 6 - 6hr sessions of chemo my count had come down from 4,850 to 17 - I have had a radical hysterectomy, and all cancer removed. I have seen my consultant today, i am cancer free, PRAISE GOD but have to have 2 x 1hr chemo, as a precaution. I am the first person to have op after full chemo treatment. So if anyone is diagnosed with the silent killer[ovarian cancer] Please don't give up, you are not dying with cancer you are living with it. Sorry i have gone on so long, thank you again and God Bless you and your family - Dorothy

Comments: Thank you for sharing your experience. I had my last chemo on 2/8/2009 and have been worried about my hair growth and nails. It was so good to see that some one else has gone through the same. I thought my hair would have grown back much faster. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January and had a bilateral masectomy. I am cured. God bless!
