When I was Sixteen. The girl I loved was killed in a way only believable in movies. As I sat on my bike about 50 yards away from her.I watched as a group of gang members harassed then shot her in a matter of seconds. all i could do is flee. i went home called the police. After that day I have not left the house since for anything but mandatory doctors appointments.I am 22 now and no longer believe in god or hope. before this happened i had planned to become a Pastor. My church was even going to pay for ministry school for me and i was going to work twards taking over youth ministries in a few years. I've be told god must have had a different plan for me. And my response now is god can go @$%# the self. There's only one thing i believe in now. that is if there is a god he thinks torture is funny.

Here's a promise for all of us...."Always".
It's a good thing to keep firmly in mind (especially during a trial) the fact God "Always" answers our prayers. He never forgets, never neglects, and never rejects a prayer request; He "Always" "Always" answers us.
He may answer speedily, He may answer in due season, He may even answer with a NO; but He "Always" "Always" answers us.
And that's a promise for all of us...."Always"
Stay blessed,
Skyliner.

hi i just wanted to say how helpful i have found your webpage about "understanding panic/agoraphobia".. i have struggled with this for (well as long as i can remember and i am 26). and i have never been able to properly explain it to people. until only a few weeks ago when i came out and told family and close friends all about how i feel day to day, and the fact that ive been hiding it unable to understand what is happening to me, and striving so much to appear NORMAL!
anyway i have showed others what you have written in your page in the hope that it will help them understand me, and what i go through every day of my life. hopefully now i wont have to make silly excuses of why i cant go certain places etc. and thanks to you, im sure they wont think im weird. most of all, im glad my "thing" has a name, and that im not the only one!
thanks so much, please feel free to reply, laura cameron.

Walk awhile upon my journey
And steal a place in my heart.
With your eyes,
Upon these words,
You, kindred spirit,
Can touch my soul.

“ In Search of Silence” by Chris Roe. A personal journey in search of spiritual peace.
A collection of 45 poems available from www.silentflightpublications.co.uk
A selection of the poems from “ In Search of Silence”
Eternal Journey
As the crimson flame of life
Breaks slowly
Above the horizon,
The white frosted meadows,
With trees and hedgerows
Of sculptured ice,
Speak loudly
Of your presence.
Once more
Upon this journey,
As another day begins,
Without effort
Or intrusion,
Through the peace
And tranquillity
Of your silent voice,
The moment becomes eternal,
And the journey begins again.
Immortal Spirit
Beside me once more,
In peaceful silence,
Softer than a feather
Cast adrift upon the breeze,
In memories,
Your spirit,
Immortal,
Returns.
