I will never forget an afterhours food fight Ellie Johnson and I had with Lou Clark....it took hours to clean it up! I remember working with Sandra, Hazel, and James Croner. I lived in Bassett,VA and didn't get to Roanoke very often. But when we did go, I would insist on going to Lendy's. I especially liked their onion rings and coconut pie. I loved their strawberry pie too. Their whipped cream tasted like no other. A very special time.
