I am a descendant of Jesse Kimball, 1760-1857, and Eliz. Roelofson. Their daughter Esther Kimball married Samuel Miller. Esther and Samuel's son William Hiram Miller (Elisha Miller's older brother) is my direct ancestor. I have been told by another Kimball-Miller descendant that Jesse Kimball and his father John both served in a Connecticut Regiment during the Revolutionary War and both are buried in the town of Montgomery in Gibson County, Indiana. This is through Col Thomas Walker, who was the father of your distant grandfather, John Walker (b 1711) of Virginia. His brother, Dr Thomas Walker, was my grandfather's grandfather's grandfather (through my mother's side of the family). Dr Walker was the man who first explored KY and named the Cumberland Gap. Glad to know that the Walker clan has produced such great heirs!
