Thank you for mentioning Davidson's book, I will purchase it and can't wait for the read. She reminds me of Ann LaBastille - the Woodswoman of the Adirondacks. Comments: I first came to Bobs Lake as a kid in 1957. I remember all you show and tell. I would think you and my dad or I have been there at the same time or two. I love the place and still go each year with my brother.

What did you like best about this website? The history and sharing a love for Cedar Haven.
Comments: My boyfriend has been coming on fishing trips to Cedar Haven for more than 20 years. This will be my sixth year (we're coming in five weeks!). We have such an amazing time. I love the lake in the early morning, it's so peaceful. And bonding with our friends over our love of the lake. It will be bittersweet this year though, because one of our friends that came to love the lake as much as us over the last 3 years (his father and uncle are part of our party), passed away in a fire this year. It will be hard for us all at first, but we know Shawn would have wanted us to continue the tradition. I read in this book, that a writer would like to have his ashes spread in the lake. My boyfriend has the same wish!!

Comments: My grandfather had a cabin just down the road from cedar haven. Murton Badour, his brother,and son were friends. I remember helping out on there farm.I hope when I die my ashes can be put into the lake.
