Comments: It has been many years and now another birthday has passed for her. She would be 43 now and in her prime. I will always remember her smile and her tough but yet tender heart. I miss her, and am sorry I never knew what happened until years later. I did not know we were both going through the same thing. I had even considered suicide but sought help instead. I too retired from a work injury that same year. I can no longer find her family and would like to talk to them only to share my thoughts and cherish memories of her with them, as well as express my sincere sorrow for their loss.
One day we too will sit again beside her and see that beautiful smile she has always had. She is so happy now, never to have to worry about pain, sickness and can truly retire from policework. For with Jesus, all is peace and all is calm. For at last Debra the peacemaker is in the arena of perfect peace!! I can't wait to join them!!

Comments: OH MY GOD!!! I had no idea!! She has been gone so long and I never knew. She was my friend, and I had loved her so. I met many years ago, worked with her and grew to care for her deeply.Our lives went separate ways, but I always have wonderful memories of her devotion and her beautiful smile. I will miss her so. I just can't believe she is gone.I know one day in heaven I will see her again.I know she is there now chatting with my mom and dad. I will miss you always!! And remember what you meant to me. I wish I knew, I would have been there to tell you it would be ok, there is life after POLICE WORK!! Comments: I'm so sorry about what happened to Debra. I bet she was a wonderful cop. I guess the strain of the job got to her too much. I've heard other similar stories of cops who killed themselves. What a sad story. She was a beautiful lady. May she rest in peace. And my God bless you and your family...
