My oh my. Aint we in trouble now. If what we hear is true, then how can Raymond be Police Chief during day, and work for county at night? What will the city do if Raymond is on night duty with county, and is needed for city business? How can he work both and it not be a conflict of interest??? If Mark wanted to step down, then Rad should been next in line. I, as others wonder why there was not a ad ran in paper for the position. Or was the mayor and city manager afraid someone who was really qualified may apply. If Mark had enough officers to do as needed to be done, he may still be in his position. And consider all the burglaries and robberies we have had and no arrest that we know of. Rad, always know you did your job right and you did it well. When I think of the news of you quitting, I think back to how Robert Benton was done as well. HPD will never be the same, since Truman has been gone, and now with Rad gone to, he will surely be missed.
