My Story
My daughter is 8 yrs. old. She has epilepsy, Add, Developmental delay,& suspect PND. The last 3 yrs. she has had no SP.Ed. teacher in her IEP's. I have done my best to come up with ideas that would help her, just hoping it does.The last IEP I had a SP.ED. teacher come because I requested it. She had no input to offer except she doesn't give timed test. I was denied observing my child in her classroom to prepare for an upcoming IEP. I was told I would be a distraction,even after assuring them I would set at the back of the classroom & not say a word as not to be a distraction. They (Luther Public School)denied me. They said they would shorten her schoolwork, never did. This precious little girl was expected to do everything a typical child was. I hired a lawyer ( George McCaffrey) to help us get this little girl a proper education. Dianna |
