A very helpful website. My mother's maiden name was Fisk; we are related to the Blythburgh (and earlier Wangford) Fisks. My grandfather worked on the Southwold Railway, and his father (William) and uncle (Arthur Cornelius - who were twins) were millers at Blythburgh and Walberswick respectively. My Great Granny lived at Rose Cottage on the London Rd and served teas and ginger beer in her garden. I must be related to Alan, since Lily White Fisk (later Kemp) was my great aunt too!

Ran across an article by Arland Fiske in the Bemidji (Minnesota) paper regarding the origin of the Fisk(e) name. He has traced it all the way back to Norway July 1030. If you would like a copy of that article, I can email it to you.
