Comments: Viewed your page re the Coopers of TN to see how I relate by way of the Jernigan clan of Wayne Co., NC to McNairy/Hardeman Co., TN after 1830.

I am seeking lineage for a Wm. "Bill" Cooper who married a Jernigan female part of the line of Wm. Henry Jernigan (1853-1935) and his father, Wm. Crawford Jernigan and Mrs. Mary Ann (Phillips)Taylor, widow of Samuel Taylor of TN. Believe your Coopers may be connected to Uncle Bill Cooper.
My Jernigans left TN by 1880 census and moved into Fannin, Hunt Co.,TX then some in Altus, OK.
