My sister in law who lives in Phoenix is a foster home for Shelties and Collies, and it is a wonderful thing you do. I have a friend who has a lovely German Shepherd who desperately needs a home. He's only a year old and is quite the specimine. He has recently developed seizures which are controlled by medication. But the every 12 hr schedule is not within the abilities full time of the owner. She so wants him to have a home, but knowing he is now a dog with disabities, she doesn't know where to begin. Does anyone know how to go about finding a home for such a great animal with special needs? Thanks so much, Jeannie.
