His daughter Phebe's daughter Mary Ellen Grove married Lewis G. Smith and they produced my Grandmother, Violet Smith Buri. I have quite a few pictures of The Martin Grove family that were taken from around 1890 to 1930. I'm wondering if any pictures of James Mc Wilfong exist. I'm also interested in his military history since he served in the 15th Illinois Infantry Regiment in early 1865. I can't seem to find any information on the family after they moved to Iowa.
