Comments: Great web page on canteens I have a question, I purchased a GREEN civil war canteen in hickory N.C. several years ago since then I have taken it to a antique apprasier here in town he said that it could be a sharp shooters canteen? in reviewing your page is it most likely to be blue or did sharp shooters also carry green canteens to match their rare green uniforms? thanks for your time.
