Comments: I was looking for Harriet Askew, homesteader in Baxter Co., AR, and I found out through your descendant report that she was born Harriet Crymes. Her daughter, Lovey, married George Martin, my third great-granduncle. He is one of the people buried in the family cemetery, Martin Cemetery, across the river from Norfork, AR. My dad (Charles Leroy Blair) and his parents and their ancestors are buried in that cemetery. My husband and I have taken pictures of all the headstones there and I am trying to get them all on findagrave.com. I am trying to show all the relationships between every single person buried there. I'm very close. For some reason, Love Askew Martin is not buried with the family, but across the river in the Norfork Cemetery. The theory is that the river was flooding at the time of burial. Her mother, Harriet Crymes Askew, is buried there as well as her sister, Martha Askew Vest. Your site is well done and a blessing to find. God guide you always.

Comments: I am the widow of Kenneth Reed Thompson, an outstanding member of your Jackson family. He was a graduate Electrical Engineer from Ga. Tech who contributed much to America's Engineering efforts: Fellow, IEEE, Hall of Fame Phi Kappa Tau, Ohio; 14 interenational patents, etc.

I have been making sure all Reed's data is recorded for our family, and found your site.

Reed descends from David Jackson and Susannah. Their daughter Sarah T. Jackson b March 29, 1845 in Habersham Co., Ga. d, after 1925 in Appling County, Ga. She married John C. Dowdy, CS b May 09 1837 in Lumpkin Co., Ga. d. Jan 12, 1920 in Alma, Bacon Co., Ga.
Their daughter Nancy Dowdy b. abt. 1863 in Lumpkin Co., Ga. d. 1922 in Bacon Co., Ga. She married Josephy Monroe Head b. Mar 5, 1863 Lumpkin Co., Ga. m abt 1884, died Mar 27, 1939 Ware Co., Ga.
Their son Arthur Henry Head b Nov 29, 1885 in Walton Co., Ga. m. Apr 15 1906 in Walton Co., Ga. d. Aapr 20, 1972 in Alma, Bacon Co., Ga.

Arthur Henry Head had LaRue Head who Married Howard Thompson, my husband's
parents.

Comments: Hi...I was surfing for info on Sarah Jane Bullington who married a Warren D. Jackson and came across your site. I have a Jane Jackson born 16 Oct 1839 died 8 Jan 1916 who is buried in Putnum County, TN at the Bullington Cemetery. Is this the same "Jane"???
