I am also the musical director of the Band of Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service, which I founded 14 years ago. I love 'brass' but I've felt for some time that there is a need to extend and to provide opportunities for musicians of other wind instruments in the fellowship of the Salvation Army.
