I was on the hill 5/73-5/74. I was working a mid at Hippy the night the birds migrated from Russia. I still tell that story as one of the wildest things I have ever seen. We had two wild boar piglets between the fences we were raising for a pig picking and feed them the birds that night. I still see 4 or 5 guys that were over there at that time. Thanks for bringing back the fond memories.

i servedwith Tuslog Det 169 from November 1970 through September 1972. I brought my wife over in early 1971 over the strenuous objections of everyone. We had a great 18 months and we're looking forward to returning to Sinop in the next few years.

I served as NCOIC of the Crypto Maint from Nov 1974 until Aug 1975 - Departed during the embargo issue and carried mail out in a black NATO bag in my duffel.
