I believe a son of James was Samuel Shaw, b. ca 1822 in Marcellus, Onon Co., NY married Lydia Reynolds 1842 in Syracuse, Onon Co., NY, and went West shortly thereafter to Wiconsin, Iowa and then Nebraska, Gage Co., leaving a child Harley J. Shaw back 'home' in Onondaga Co. with the Stephen Hunt family in 1860, and then this son Harley J. Shaw enlisted in the Civil War in 1863. He later moved to Gage County NE where many of his family were. Any info on these Shaws? Thanks

My father is Matthew McNally from Albany, NY. He has a brother Robert. My grandparents were Robert McNally and Lorraine Hamel of Albany. I do not know very much beyond, seeing as I never new my grandfather. We believe his family was from Canada, and originally from Ireland or Scottland. If anyone knows anything, I would greatly appreciate help. Thanks!
