Comments: Godless Churches

There have been and there still are various religions. How can a person know what religion he should follow? Christianity certainly has amazing promises for true believers: the resurrection of the body, eternal Life in glory, no more sin and no more sorrow in the Presence of a Loving God forever. Christianity also has proof that it is the one and only legitimate religion. Old Testament prophecies that describe Jesus Christ's First Coming have all come true. Read Psalm 22 for a perfect example; it clearly foretold the Crucifixion. Psalm 22 was written about 1000 years before God's Word, as Christ, came in a sinless human body to perfectly fulfill all of the Law for sinners who believe, repent and obey His Truth. These prophecies about Jesus Christ exist in the Jewish portion of the Scriptures, the Old Testament, even more proof that Christianity is the one and only true religion. The Jews' own prophecies foretold that most of them would not believe in Christ Jesus as their Savior until His Second Coming. But there are many divisions within Christianity. How can a person know what denomination he should join? Here is the simple answer: do not join or follow any denomination because the Word of God has also prophesied that all of the churches would be false. God's Word about Godless churches in the last days has indeed come true. Do not trust any of the earthly churches. Trust God's Word alone, the Old Testament and the New Testament. Never completely trust another person with your salvation, test everything in the Scriptures, God's Word. Use an accurate Holy Bible translation such as the NIV, NASB, NRSV or all three. Never completely trust the comments, definitions or any information that has been added in the study Bibles. Here is Rock-solid Biblical proof that all of the earthly churches are false, exactly as prophesied:

Mt 16:13When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" 14They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets." 15"But what about you?" He asked. "Who do you say I am?" 16Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, [the Messiah] the Son of the Living God." 17Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. 18And I tell you that you are Peter, [Peter means Rock] and on this Rock I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades [hell] will not overcome it. 19I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

Read all of Mt 16. What was Jesus Christ saying in Mt 16:17-19? Did He make Peter the head of His Church? No, He did not. Jesus Christ is the Head of His Church, Col 1. In Mt 16:18, who said, "I will build my Church"? Read Isa 33:5-6; Lk 11:52; Rev 3:7 about the "keys" of Mt 16:19. The real "Rock" is Peter's confession of Jesus Christ, who He really is, Mt 16:16. Only those who have this Truth "revealed" to them by the Father will be saved, Mt 16:17. Also, read Mk 8:27-38; Lk 9. Do you know who Jesus Christ really is? Do not assume anything but read very carefully and pray to God for His wisdom and His understanding to help you, Pr 2-3.

Jn 6:44"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the Last Day. 45It is written in the Prophets: 'They will all be taught by God.' [Read the Psalms, the Proverbs and the Prophets.] Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to me. 46No one has seen the Father except the One who is from God; only He has seen the Father. 47I tell you the Truth, he who believes has everlasting Life...62What if you see the Son of Man ascend to where He was before! 63The Spirit gives Life; the flesh counts for nothing. The Words I have spoken to you are Spirit and they are Life. 64Yet there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray Him. 65He went on to say, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled him." 66From this time many of His disciples turned back and no longer followed Him. 67"You do not want to leave too, do you?" Jesus asked the Twelve. 68Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the Words of eternal Life. 69We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God."

Read all of Jn 6:25-69. Peter's confession in Jn 6:68-69 is identical to the confession he gave in Mt 16:16, different words were used but the Message is the same. Not one person can be saved through Jesus Christ unless he has been "enabled" by the Father, Mt 16:17; Jn 6:44,65. Only those who completely trust in God's Word to teach them will be enabled to understand and declare His true Gospel, Ex 33:12-14; Ps 19; Ps 25-33; Ps 119; Mt 10:19-20; Mt 23:8-12; Mk 13:11; Lk 12:11-12; Lk 21:14-15; Jn 6:45; Jn 14-15; 1Co 1:4-9,26-31; Gal 1:11-12; Php 1:9-11; 1Ti 4; 2Ti 3:10-17; Titus 2:11-15; Heb 8; 2Pe 3:15-16; 1Jn 2:24-27. Who taught you?

Jn 17:1After Jesus said this, He looked toward heaven and prayed: 2"Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted Him authority over all people that He might give eternal Life to all those you have given Him. 3Now this is eternal Life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. 5And now, Father, glorify me in your Presence with the glory I had with you before the world began."

Read all of Jn 13-17; Jn 20:19-23. How do we receive "eternal Life"? By knowing the Father, who is "the only true God, and Jesus Christ," whom He has sent! Jn 17:3. Read Jn 5 for this same Message. Jesus Christ said, "I tell you the Truth, whoever hears my Word and believes Him who sent me" has already "crossed over from death to Life", Jn 5:24. Compare Jn 1:1-18; Jn 3:31-36; Jn 6:44-47,62-65; Heb 11:1,6 to Jn 17:1-5.

Jn 8:12When Jesus spoke again to the people, He said, "I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the Light of Life." 13The Pharisees challenged Him, "Here you are, appearing as your own witness; your testimony is not valid." 14Jesus answered, "Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. 15You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. 16But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me. 17In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two men is valid. 18I am One who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me." 19Then they asked Him, "Where is your father?" 20"You do not know me or my Father," Jesus replied. "If you knew me, you would know my Father also." He spoke these Words while teaching in the temple area near the place where the offerings were put. Yet no one seized Him, because His time had not yet come. 21Once more Jesus said to them, "I am going away, and you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I go, you cannot come." 22This made the Jews ask, "Will He kill Himself? Is that why He says, 'Where I go, you cannot come'?" 23But He continued, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. 24I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the One I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins." Jn 10:30"I and the Father are One."

Read all of Jn 8:12-59. How many witnesses were there that testified? TWO! Who testified? The Father and His Son! Jn 8:18. Who will die in their sins? Jn 8:24. Compare Jn 5 to Jn 8. Read Jn 10; 1Jn 1-5; 2Jn.

Here are a few similar Scriptures together: Jn 1:18No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only [the Only Begotten], who is at the Father's side, has made Him known. Jn 6:46"No one has seen the Father except the One who is from God; only He has seen the Father." Mt 11:25At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure. 27All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him." Lk 10:21At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure. 22All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him."

Are you a true child of God? God's true children will listen to their Heavenly Father, to the Lord Jesus Christ and to each other: Mt 10:40"He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives the One who sent me." Mk 9:37"Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my Name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the One who sent me." Lk 9:48Then He said to them, "Whoever welcomes this little child in my Name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the One who sent me. For he who is least among you all--he is the greatest." Lk 10:16"He who listens to you listens to me; he who rejects you rejects me; but he who rejects me rejects Him who sent me." Jn 5:24"I tell you the Truth, whoever hears my Word and believes Him who sent me has eternal Life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to Life." Jn 12:44Then Jesus cried out, "When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the One who sent me. 45When he looks at me, he sees the One who sent me. 46I have come into the world as a Light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness." Jn 13:20"I tell you the Truth, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the One who sent me." Jn 14:20"On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you."

Jesus Christ spoke about the "secrets" of His Kingdom, Mt 13; Mk 4; Lk 8. Paul taught about the "mystery" of Christ, Eph 1-6; Col 1-4. Why has the true Gospel of Jesus Christ been hidden from the vast majority of those who claim to follow it? They didn't listen to Him! Mt 17; Mk 9; Lk 9. If they refuse to obey Him, He doesn't want them in His Heavenly Kingdom! Ps 110; Mt 18:1-4. Use a concordance and look up "listen" and "obey" as well as their variations in the full context of the Scriptures. False Christians have refused to simply believe and trust in God's Word alone, "the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth"! Jn 14; Jn 17; Ac 1-5; Rev 19:13. Instead, they have trusted in man, in man's opinions, in man's dogma and in man's traditions when they should have known that God hates the wisdom of this world, those who think they are wise, Isa 28; Jn 9; 1Co 1-4; 1Pe 2:1-8.

Mt 16:21From that time on Jesus began to explain to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the Law, and that He must be killed and on the third day be raised to Life. 22Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. "Never, Lord!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!" 23Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men." 24Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. 26What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? 27For the Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels, and then He will reward each person according to what he has done. 28I tell you the Truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom."

When a person has in mind "the things of men", who is in control of him? "Satan"! Mt 16:23. True Christians no longer belong to this world, they will have "the mind of Christ", Jn 14-16; 1Co 2:6-16; Php 1-4; Jas 1-5; 1Jn 2. They will take up their cross daily, serving the Lord Jesus Christ for the glory of His Father, Ps 34; Mt 10; Mt 16; Mk 8; Lk 9; Lk 14; Jn 3:21; Jn 12; Jn 17; Jn 20; 1Co 15:30-34; 2Co 4-6:13. Saved Christians will not "taste" their physical death, they have crossed over from death to Life, Ps 68; Mt 16:28; Jn 5; Jn 11. True believers have received a spiritual circumcision, the Holy Spirit baptism of the risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ, Ps 51; Mt 3; Mk 10:35-45; Lk 12; Jn 20:19-31; Ro 1-8;12; Eph 4; Col 2:6-3:17. Saved Christians are baptized into the spiritual body of the Lord Jesus Christ through His Name: His Living "Water" of the Word, His "Blood" and His "Spirit" of "Grace and Truth" from the Father, Ps 138; Mt 3; Mt 28:18-20; Mk 1; Mk 16:15-20; Lk 3; Lk 24; Jn 1-4; Jn 7:37-39; Jn 13; Ac 1-5; Ac 11; Heb 8-10; 1Jn 5:1-13. How many persons of God are mentioned in Mt 16:27? The same number as in all of the other Scriptures above - TWO! True Christians will believe but what organized earthly church believes this critical Truth? Jn 17:1-5. NONE! Jn 3-4:42, "God is Spirit" and God the Father only seeks worshipers who will worship Him "in Spirit and in Truth". Those without God's Holy Spirit baptism through His Son remain "evil" and doomed because they failed to "ask...seek...knock" for God's exact original Gospel Truth, Mt 7:7-23; Lk 11; Jn 7-8. Do members of Godless churches taste their physical death?

Lk 6:46"Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? 47I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my Words and puts them into practice. 48He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49But the one who hears my Words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."

Read Mt 7:24-29 and 1Co 1-6. What happened to the earthly churches? God's warnings about them have all come true, Lk 6:49; Lk 17:20-37. Even in the time of the apostles there were false Christians, Gal 1-6. Did they go away? No, they took over! 3Jn. Now there is not one organized earthly church that believes God is One Holy Spirit of the Father and His Son, Eph 1-4; 2Jn. Be afraid! Ps 1-2; Pr 1-9; Isa 24; Isa 66; Lk 8:16-18; Lk 19:26-27. If the prophecies about the false churches have all come true, the rest will also come true, 2Pe 1-3; Rev 1-20. Read the Psalms, the Proverbs, the Prophets and the entire New Testament. Remember, God's Word uses symbolism such as "Jerusalem" for the earthly churches, Isa 1-5; Lk 21:20-24; 1Co 10:6; Rev 21. Trash the lies, burn the diplomas, start over with God's Word as a baby on milk, Isa 55. Use a concordance and read about "righteous" and "righteousness" in the full context of the Scriptures, especially in the entire New Testament. Read Ps 22, "He has done it!" And I "will proclaim His righteousness!" Jesus Christ fulfilled "all righteousness" at His water baptism by John under the Law but all water baptizing churches have called Him a liar, Mt 3. They have also called His Father a liar because they have denied "the testimony God has given about His Son" and His "Living Water", Jer 2:13,22; Jer 17:5-13; Jn 2:1-11; Jn 3-4:42; Jn 7:37-39; Titus 1-3; 1Pe 1-5; 1Jn 5; Rev 22. Do you worship the real Jesus or the one Paul warned about in 2Co 11:1-15?

1Co 3:9For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's Field, God's Building. 10By the Grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. 11For no one can lay any foundation other than the One already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to Light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. 14If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. 15If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames. 16Don't you know that you yourselves are God's Temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? 17If anyone destroys God's Temple, God will destroy him; for God's Temple is sacred, and you are that Temple. 18Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a "fool" so that he may become wise. 19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness"; 20and again, "The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile." 21So then, no more boasting about men! All things are yours, 22whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or Life or death or the present or the future--all are yours, 23and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

Compare Lk 6:43-49 to 1Co 3:9-23. God is "One Spirit" of the Father and His Son, Jn 10:30; Jn 14:20,28; 1Co 12; Eph 4. "God's Spirit" lives in "sacred" believers, they are "God's Temple", 1Co 3:16-17. Those who believe and obey "are of Christ, and Christ is of God", 1Co 3:23. If you have not built on the true "foundation" of 1Co 3:11, the "Rock" of a continuous confession of the real Jesus Christ, then "you also will be cut off", Jn 15; Ac 4:31-33; Ro 10-11:24; Heb 13:9-16. If you believe in a trinity, if you believe in a oneness that denies the Sovereignty of the Lord Jesus Christ, if you believe in water baptisms of any kind, then you have not built on the foundation that will save you, Jn 8:12-59; Jude. You can't even hope to be saved because all who follow false gospels will perish, Mt 23-25; Mk 13; Lk 21; Jn 10; 2Th 2; 1Ti 4; 2Ti 3:1-5; 2Ti 4:1-8; Heb 10:26-31. All who trust in man-made dogma and works of the flesh, such as water baptisms, have no "faith", Mt 3:13-15; Ro 1:16-20; Ro 7:4; Ro 10:4. No faith means no Grace and no Grace means no salvation, Ro 3:21-5:11. Only saved believers will know that God's "Grace" is "the Law of the Spirit of Life", Jn 17; Ro 1-8;12; 1Co 15:45-49.

Jesus Christ said, Mt 7:13"Enter through the narrow Gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the Gate and narrow the road that leads to Life, and only a FEW FIND IT." Jesus Christ said, Jn 10:9"I am the Gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture." Only a few will be saved through Jesus Christ compared to the many who claim to be saved. After I had already learned God's exact original Gospel I met another truly saved Christian through his writings. He lived almost 2000 years ago. He is known as Justin Martyr. He wrote what has been called the "Dialogue of Justin: Philosopher and Martyr, with Trypho, a Jew". I will recommend that you read his "Dialogue" and see that Justin and I, although we obviously have never met each other, have believed in the same exact Gospel. Justin understood the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ, His Living Water, spiritual circumcisions, the Holy Spirit baptism, that God is Father and Son in One Holy Spirit and what God's Grace really is. He also did an excellent job of proving to the Jews from their own Old Testament prophecies that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He proved to Trypho and his friends from their own Scriptures that the majority of the Jews would reject Jesus Christ until He comes again at His Second Coming. Justin was eventually killed for his testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ, Rev 1. Justin, like Stephen of Ac 6-7, knew that saved Christians will never taste their physical death, Rev 2:8-10. He gladly faced persecution and physical death for His Savior, Mt 5:1-12; Lk 6:17-36; Jn 16; 2Co 11:16-13:10; 1Th 1-5. Justin believed in God's original Gospel, the same Gospel that can still be found in God's Holy Bible by those who "ask...seek...knock", Lk 11. Here is more proof that true Christianity is the one and only religion that will save believers. With almost 2000 years between us, Justin and I have both understood and believed in the same exact original Truth, the one and only Gospel of God's true salvation, Jn 8:31-36; Jn 18:28-37. Where do you want to spend eternity? Carefully read Justin's "Dialogue" at http://www.ccel.org/fathers2/ANF-01/anf01-48.htm#P4043_787325

Ask for the free emails about baptism and Grace. They are full of more detailed Biblical proof. There is an email that explains Mt 28, called "Mt 28:18-20 = Jn 13-17; Jn 20:19-23". There are emails that explain Ac 8; Ac 10-11 and many more of God's critical Truths. Obey God's command to test yourself, 2Co 13:5. Ask for and take the free simple "Christian Self-Test" that false Christians can never answer correctly. Test your leaders! Those who continue to cling to their pride and the lies will remain "blind" no matter how much Biblical proof is given to them, Ps 73; Mt 15:1-20; Mt 23; Jn 9. If they do not repent and follow God's original Gospel, stay away from them after you "warn" them, 2Co 6:14-7:1; 2Th 3:14-15. Do not share in their "wicked work" because God hates "evil" and all evildoers will be destroyed! Ps 58; Isa 63-66; Mt 7:15-23; 1Th 5:12-22; 2Jn; Rev 19.

My Lord Jesus Christ walks on water, heals the sick, drives out demons, raises the dead, calms the wind and the waves. All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him by God our Father in Heaven!
