Comments: My Mother's cousin was PVT Ingram Lambert 29th 116 Co C who was killed by a sniper and died on Omaha Beach as he was trying to set a bangalore torpedo to help advance his group. We learned of his bravery the past month reading the information on the internet. My Mother is now 86 and is the last living relative who remembers him. He was 24 years old. His mother had his body returned to her to be buried in a small cemetary in Ramsey New Jersey with his grandparents. His mother Emily died in 1974 and his Aunt, my grandmother died the same year. I have a picture of Ingram in uniform and also where he is buried. We have donated to the National DDay Museum in Lousiana in his memory and for all the brave men who fought for our country in WWII. Comments: I really don't know much about my fathers' service because he was very private. I do know that he was in 29th division, 115th Infantry, Company M from Fort George G. Meade, MD. I have a picture that shows the year 1941 "Rally Round the Flag". I know that his captain was Robert C. Bean. There are a few names that I remember from my childhood but those have since passed away. My father was Joseph M. Lowman has was from the Annapolis, MD area. If you would like more information concerning the print I have please feel free to email me at MMJONES@Hughes.net.
